Brick Wall Arrested For Indecent Exposure
BLEECKER— A brick wall was taken into custody Monday morning after allegedly exposing itself during an apartment tour on Bleecker Street, authorities said.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m. inside a 50-square-foot studio listed as “cozy and full of character.” According to the couple touring the apartment, they had just stepped inside when the brick exposed itself.
“It all happened so fast,” said Lisa Barlow, who recently relocated to New York City with her husband, Max Barlow. “We walked in and there it was. I don’t know if I'll ever get that image out of my mind.”
The arrest is the latest in a string of exposed brick incidents reported across the city. “We’re seeing it everywhere. Lofts, brownstones, studios in Bushwick. NYPD Commissioner Frank Beans told reporters. “These creeps think they can strip down and get off on innocent people. Not on my watch.”
The Rat reached out to the brick’s attorney who declined to comment.
